ACF Plumbing Schedule of Rates as of 29/09/2026
Normal Rates
Monday – Friday 7:30am-5pm (Standard Business Hours)
Our standard charges are:
Hourly Rate: $95.00 + GST
Vehicle & Administration Charge: $45.00 + GST per site visit
Minimum Charge: One hour plus the Vehicle & Administration Charge, being a total minimum charge of $140.00 + GST
Zone 2 Travel
For properties located within Zone 2, being the wider Christchurch area beyond Rangiora, Swannanoa, Rolleston, West Melton, Lincoln and Governors Bay, travel is charged at $1.30 + GST per kilometre to and from our registered office at 27 Saxon Street, Philipstown.
The Zone 2 travel charge applies instead of the standard Vehicle & Administration Charge.
How Our Time Is Charged
Our minimum charge covers the first chargeable hour. This may include initial travel to your property and the collection of materials specifically required for your job while travelling to the site.
After the first hour, labour is charged in 15-minute intervals.
Chargeable time may also include time reasonably required to:
- complete health and safety documentation;
- complete job card details;
- order or source materials and parts for your job; and
- collect materials specifically required for your job.
Parts, materials and any plant or equipment required are charged separately according to the requirements of the job.
Gas, electrical, backflow and other certificates or compliance documentation is also charged separately where required.
The minimum charge includes travel for one tradesperson. If your job requires a second or additional tradesperson, additional travel charges will apply for that person.
Afterhours Rates
Weekends and Weekdays outside of Standard Business Hours
Hourly Rate: $142.50 + GST
Vehicle & Administration Charge: $45.00 + GST per site visit
Afterhours Callout Fee: $80 + GST
Minimum Charge: One hour plus the Vehicle & Administration Charge, and an Afterhours callout fee being a total minimum charge of $267.50 + GST

Public Holiday Rates
Public Holidays are the observed days as established by the Holidays Act 2003
Hourly Rate: $190 + GST
Vehicle & Administration Charge: $45.00 + GST per site visit
Public Holiday Callout Fee*: $420 + GST
Minimum Charge: One hour plus the Vehicle & Administration Charge, and Public Holiday Callout Fee being a total minimum charge of $655 + GST

*Please note that as required by the Holidays Act 2003 staff who work a public holiday are entitled a day in lieu therefore this cost must be covered by the callout fee.
